Abstract Submission

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for the 2021 Health in Difference and LGBTI Ageing & Aged Care Conferences. The contribution of presenters is critical and we value your input greatly. 

Abstract submission will open the week commencing Monday 11 January 2021.

Abstract deadline Monday 8 February 2021 9:00 AM AEDT.

GUIDELINES

Abstract guidelines and templates are provided below. You must ensure you follow the guidelines and use the correct template in order for your abstract to be submitted for review. The guidelines apply for each conference, however, please note the difference in themes.

Abstracts on original research findings, case studies, completed projects and theoretical analyses. Presentations should be well structured, rigorous and demonstrate a novel contribution to knowledge.

Abstracts analysing issues and solutions to problems in clinical practice; including case studies and quality improvement activities community engagement, education, health promotion and policy. Presentations should be well structured, rigorous and demonstrate a novel contribution to knowledge.

Abstract Submission Portal

Abstracts for each conference are to be submitted via the same portal link. You will be prompted during the submission process to identify the conference your abstract is relevant to.

Conference Theme “LGBTIQ+ Health and Wellbeing”

We encourage submissions for all priority LGBTIQ+ populations. In deciding on the theme to submit a presentation under, consider who your target audience are. Practice-based abstracts are welcomed in all themes – consider whether your project is a good example of the translation of research into practice.
